marshall re-vamp the mg range

Post by Progrockabuse »

just opened the new copy of guitarist and noticed they've upgrade them quite a bit.
they look a little less cheap, sorry for crap scan, need to clean the glass on the scanner.
i'm tempted by a 50 watt model, just for the price.

New Guitarist?

Hopefully it'll be greeting me in it's plastic glory when I get home. I'm always dead excited on new Guitarist day, but then I read it and get angry and depressed.

I think Marshall are supposed to drop a competitior to the small valve amp market soon.

Very cool that they're using the awesome JVM footswitch thingie with the programmability of the buttons and the guitar cable connection.

i'm not convince by those road worn fenders. i'd rather drag my player strat across the floor a few times.
there's a few good reviews in it this time. mum hides mine till i've taken her shopping lol.

Everytime Guitarist comes out I need to remember to get it sent directly to my house. My copy goes all the way up to Aberdeen then sent back down here. Though my dad does read it before sending it back in the post.

This is such a good thing - impressive they have extended it to the MG series.

I got an MG15R for my birthday. It was quite a good amp. I love running it on the dist channel with the volume dimed and hardly any gain.

I lost it when I moved flats somehow.

When I say my birthday, I mean my 18th birthday. Not the one I'm currently celebrating.

I had an MG30 for a while - served admirably as a practice amp until a couple years ago. The clean channel was always so quiet, though.

When I was looking for a 10W SS practice amp, the MG10 was one of the best.
