New here

Post by GEISHA »

I am a newbie on this site and I am glad that I have found you.
Why?
Quite recently I bought a Squire Classic Vibe Duo Sonic and it has changed my life to be honest.
It has opened a new chapter of playing guitar and it will not only stay but it will grow, that I am sure of.
My CV Duo Sonic, see pics, has been slightly modded:
Dome knobs i.s.o. of the barrel type.
Metal tuners i.s.o.of the white plastic ones.
Brass saddles i.s.o. the chrome ones.
Plays like a dream; I'll buy another one soon, and give it a custom colour and some more.

Nice pictures, and welcome to the boards.

What colour combinations are you thinking of for the next one. Will you make your own pickguard or keep the gold one?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
What colour, hmmmm quite difficult in fact.
I like blue, light blue, but also green and also old purple.
The PG will certainly be adapted to the colour I choose, notably a white one will come up.
If I cannot choose I feel I'll will do them all.

A Mustang is also on my cards.
Gee what have I started.........

In accordance with our newb bashing policy, I must give you a little crap for replacing the sweet plastic tuners.

Major points for the brass saddles, though!

They're not Speed knobs, they're Telecaster Chrome Domes.

These are Speed knobs:
