I don't understand the hate they get, they're directly decended from the Lead 12 solid-state Combo I robbed to make my 1x10" cabinet. That amp was a great sounding thing.

In fact I should dig out the amp chassis and fix it up with a speaker jack.

My first thought, also. Apart from the firing bit, in these credit crunch-y times.

But still. I HAET THEM.

I saw some nu-metal/funk band playing and the guitar dude had one of the newer MG halfstacks that's white. SHIT.

Meh, I'm fairly indifferent to the MG. The AVT is too close to it price wise, ann from what I remember they're much better amps.

On saying that, that was about five or six years ago. I've not played any of the newer ones,

The big MG logo thing is awful, makes them look cheaper. I have an MG30DFX from like.. 6 years ago. Looks fine. Sounds pretty crap.

By this logic, there's no such thing as bad design, a fact my portfolio will disprove.

so you think that if something someone else comes up with for a product is shit, and you fire that person but you still make use of it, doesn't mean it's still a bad design in your eyes?

Yeah, that's what he thinks. It's because he's not as clever as you.

Nope. You've missed my point. But, with the best will in the world, I feel I'm pissing in the wind here. Lets talk about something else, to someone else.
