james from union pulse has a 2/3 sized hofner styled rick with a matching stock, or atleast i think its ahofner.
he is the same guy that has the 70's tele deluxe that i took apart a long time ago

I think it's possible to sell a rick copy, you just can't mention anything rickenbacker related....even if you say "This is a copy of a guitar that starts with the letter R".

I think Rickenbacker has a right to be protective of their designs. Their situation is not anything like Fender and Gibson. I only joke because they do it with such quickness, it's like they have a guy or something who just looks at eBay auctions all day long.

I've always lusted after a 4003 bass. It may never happen. I sure hope it does.
