See now if I had infinite money, I'd do the same with pretty much everything I buy and keep it packaged up, apart from food. I'd love to have a big warehouse so I didn't have to throw shit away.

thats pretty funny.
i try to buy two of the same when possible so that way i always have a backup.
the only doubles i have right are.
3 small clones(1 needs to be fixed)
2 dwarfcraft square snakes
2 booster pedals, one is a muff, the other is a salt
2 bassballs(1 needs repaired.
2 danelectro sitar swami's(1 is messed up!)

DONT DO IT!! LOL. I have 4 under my bed, in fact they are all over the house. It becomes a disorder and before you know it you'll have two of everything: one to gig, one to polish.

It's hilarious there is a picture of it under the bed.

I would remove the sticker, if you leave it for years it will never come off.

Squier goes in and out of making desirable guitars. They will stop making the CV line, when somebody realizes its too good a value for the money. They did it with the Japanese Squiers, The ProTone series and such.

Then you'll be back to Indonesian Strats with ugly clunky tuners, yucky neck finishes, and just max cheese all around.

If you like that style of guitar I say grab a couple.

Its got to that point where guitars are excellent investments and if the market goes up this year like they have predicted they will be even more so. A retailer told me Fender and Squier are going up 25% and BC Rich high end 100%

I bought my Fender Toronado 2 years ago for Â£120, they are going at Â£399 on ebay at the moment if you are lucky enough to find one. That is one of the reasons i retired it to the case and started using the PRS.

This is no joke, I did this for my son. I told him to take care of the Guitar and keep it.
Should anything happen to him, my daughters are there to take over.

do you really think it'll be worth that much though? I mean surely it will go up but even JV Squiers (which are something like 27 years old at this point) still go for less than $1000. also antique markets go up and down. vintage car prices sky rocketed in the 80s and 90s and now have settled to average prices. my dad's 1928 buick that he's fully restored is only worth like 20-something grand. with inflation I think it's worth maybe about twice as much as it cost new 80 years ago.

i can't believe how much cyclones are going for now, i overpaid for mine and i still see them going for over $500 on ebay

$500+ for a glorified used MIM strat

Its crazy. I remember Cyclones and Toronados being a cheaper substitute for Mustangs and Jags, based roughly on looks, but now they are equally priced if not more.

someone got a good deal, i was never big on the stock cyclone pick guard (i'm putting a mustang style on mine) but the cyclone II is a sexy beast
