i was thinking id get one and paint/relabel the case, if it really bothered me. then it would be just this weird noisy box. probably not worth it tho. and it would ruin the resale $$.
I actually like how it looks...cray I know...maybe it is like one of those ugly girls that just have so much personality.....william wrote:i agree. and the name is dumb, but at least it stands for something real (MOnoPHOnic).jcyphe wrote:The mopho looks so tempting sound wise. But honestly these are probably gonna be $200-250 used. That's kind of a no brainer, even with the ugly graphics, i'd check it out.

Thats the exact model i had! I paid like £40, they are going for £150+ now. It was a heavy thing but great sounds, monophonic though. I remember the 'wind' sounding effect, i used to leave that on hold and play Hawkwind riffsstewart wrote:i've played one of those before, they're crazy. they have an input so you gan put other instruments through the filter if i'm not mistaken.suede wrote:and yamaha cs5 for weird sounds...

I actually paid 15 dollars for it, had it fixed for 20 since some keys didn't work...we usually sample stuff out of it since we cannot save sounds and it's not midi....Fran wrote:Thats the exact model i had!
