It used to say on every fender japan product 'can't export to US' or w/e.. check now, it's gone. could this be? confirm. please.

iirc importation was shut down when the MIM's came out but japanese vendors are now allowed to ship again, at MUCH higher prices (like 1300 canadian for a 66 b&b jag RI)
