Reaper ASIO halp

Post by Reece »

I've never had a problem with asio in anything other than reaper, in reason, sonar, cubase etc etc it's fine but in reaper over the course of fifteen minutes or so it slowly distorts more and more, akin to what happens if you're using asio on a setup that's really not optimised for it (like mine) and you play a bunch of tracks with realtime effects and it can't keep up.

It means I quite often have to do my tracking one track at a time, save, close, reopen, next track to be safe and do any mixing using directsound.

I would record with directsund but the latency is annoying and not consistent so I have to sort out each track manually to get them in time which ends up being proper tedious.
