You've never heard of Marshalls?

Doog and I might be coming across if James gives us a glowing report. Can you take two shortscalers at once? If not I'll leave Doog in the car with the window cracked.

*Does fast-hand-claps of excitement*

I will book some time off with Mrs Benecol: bite to eat Saturday night? I have to put some blinds up, then am a free man.

Nah man, I'm not going to be around that long even if I do come over, it'll more likely be driving over to arrive to arrive sort of middayish and have a look at the amp, possibly hang around a bit and then head back - it's 2 hours each way, like. Food in the evening means it'll be well late doors when I get back to Watford, and then Doog has to traipse all the way across London to get back to New Cross

... then I'll have to try and ge some time off in the avo then, won't I? Can't guarantee it, as there are grim things occurring at the mo, but I will endeavour to. But wouldn't life be easier if yu just drove back later, traffic-hassle free? And fuck Doog, obviously.

I'm not even sure I'm going down yet, it's all pretty much dependent on what James says.

A 4 hour roadtrip for something I shouldn't really be buying is something that won't exactly be popular with Her Indoors either. Don't go rearranging your life for this one day, I'll be over at some point no doubt to bother James. I think Joanna is out dancing with her homosexual friends on Saturday and as such she won't be back until Sunday afternoon sometime, so I need to back reasonable to feed our cats etc.

My life is dull.

Afternoon is chitlin nap time, so I might be able to nip out, if only to throw a stick for Doog in the park etc. But no worries if not etc. Will try and locate obscure british amp name in memorybanks...

I'm just saying, I'm not even sure I'm coming out there yet, so let's not get too many plans in place because

1. Need James' feedback
2. I really shouldn't be spending the money
3. I don't need it
4. It's 2 hours each way in my car and my fanbelt /clutch has been sounding odd recently, so I'm not exactly super confident in my car at the moment.
5. Profit?

Yeah no problem.

There's a pub here that does great food (the food bit is more of a restaurant rather than standard pub fare) that I highly recommend. If you fancy getting something to eat but still want to get back early we could go there fairly early.

Another option is all back to mine, and I'll require my cab for 8 or 16 ohms (wired up as 4 at the moment).

I'll head off in the next 10-20 mins and report back once I'm home.

James has texted. He got to the shop at 5:25pm, and it's been open till 6pm for years... to find it closed.

Which is a bastard because he went out of his way to go there, which I appreciate a lot.

They still have the same sign on the door saying they're open til 6. Perhaps it was a quiet day or they had something else to do that evening. I'll go back tomorrow and play it, although it's calling it a bit close for Mike coming down this weekend to get it.

Still, at least we'll know where we are. Also would be interested in how bright it is clean compared to dirty
