Well the massive POSSIBLY boosts my confidence in it completely. Cant remember what i done to it, made it this time last year and cant rememeber where i found the schematic. Fuck it sounds awesome anyway. I'll get painting soon and update the pic, oh and i need a board too, my living room floor is cluttered enough. And cables! fuck the shopping list increases daily.

I know what the Creamy Dreamer modifications are, they're just arbitrary. Remove the 2 gain stage 390 ohm emitter resistors and replace by straps to ground to boost the gain of each stage and remove the two resistors to the base of each gain stage from the previous stage, these also increase the gain.

The recently modified Boss DS-1 and SD-1 are on. Klon is being used as a clean boost.

No worries, I really liked it stock though. I could fix the bleed through bypass no problem for you though.

Have a listen to my before and after mod videos.

Box of Mike>DD-3>Saltboost>Tu-2

this is the set up i used all the time till the box of mike had a few hiccups. the only change was the delay used to be a reel echo.

i love this setup, thanks mike

No worries mate. Thanks for buying them in the first place, it was great to spruce them up. Your Saltbooster is now right up to chuff with the stuff I build these days.

the toggle switch works really well, the thinner sound almost works like a treble booster, slams the tweed like a guy dropping the soap in a prison shower.

i can defiantly get rid of the bd-2 and bad monkey now.

ROLF

haha.. good to hear it. I didn't want to go too far with the cap change or the output would have dropped substantially.

The wah is from Target. True bypass, modded to Clyde McCoy schematic. The knob on the left controls midrange, the switch disconnects the battery so I can leave it plugged in.
Is that wah the Behringer one from Target?

It's a Lyon by Washburn - the circuit board is the same as the Dunlop one. It actually has "Dunlop Crybaby Rev. G" silk-screened on it.
