I have a copy of Flash MX or CS or something somewhere. One from about 2004/5. I can have a go if you want, but I was planning on photoshop to just make a mock up for the look, aiming to do it in a way so you could just move your stuff around without much re-coding.

Would it be impossible to have a decal editor, where one could edit the text for custom decal action?
I guess that depends on wether there's a feder font kicking around, eh?

this is up. looking good, sir.

the main thing i'd suggest (because most everybody's got anything else i'd say covered) would be an animation w/ a progress bar showing that the file's loading. depending on someone's connection, it could take a while to load so eye candy is always nice.

thanks for this contribution, dan. you're definitely gold-star status.

There's a fender-ish font, but not one the exact same as the logo. I used the fenderish font on this:

people may be bothered by the ups and downs of the server, but shortscale marches on regardless.

I'm a bit pissed up (see 'I'll kick your fucking jaw off' diary thread post) but I must say you've done a good job at this. It must be a bit of a bastard to collate the lot. I know people have helped out and I've been a bit of a cunt in the "it's not good enough yet" stakes but stick wiith it and itll be there.

It defo needs a few tweeks to get that photo realism look but it's not far off at all.

I have nearly done the new layout, with tabs for the different sections (body and pg, neck, and hardware). Should be up soon. Im not sure how to add a loading bar, but i will look into it!

i was never great at flash editing myself (hit up junkbox for advice on this, he's a master), but it's pretty much just adding a scene that loads first and then calls the next scene when the loading is finished.

Right, im about to upload it so you can see how it looks. The pickups dont work though, im trying to figure out how to do the code. For the minute just put the pickups on last, cause they dissapear when you change the tab.. you will see what I mean..

Here it is. The switches and knobs will have the same problem as the pickups. I will sort it though :x

much better!

no idea how you'd fix the pickups, how are you doing the different tabs at the moment? maybe something like having the pickups layer always on at the bottom and having other layers simply appearing on top of it for the different tabs so the pickups stay on the body.

yeah i have an idea... the tabs basically just show/hide everything. so really its all on one page. the problem is when you hide all the pickups it also hides the ones you dragged onto the body which i forgot about. I AM GOING TO MAKE THIS WORK THOUGH! i hope.
