From the pictures it's impossible to give a date closer than 64-67 and the value will vary depending on where it lies in that. There's still no doubt that it's a great price though, and you get a bit of a lucky dip as to how good it is thrown in. If I was an American looking for an amp or even if I was an American with the cash to throw at this I'd hit it no question.
Shabba.

Seriously, though... are these things so commonly inexpensive in the states that nobody's actually bought this by now?
If this were listed in Mtl, it would have been gone within minutes. Litterally. Assuming this is in good condition, one could reasonably expect to pay $1200 for it, here.

I know there is a 60's showman not to far from me going for 700 with the original 4x10 tall cabinet.
Old fenders are alot more common here...My last bassman was a 73 and I got it for 350 with a Marshall 4x10 cabinet...Of course both were beat up.

i think aen paid around 350-450 for the bassman i currently own, i basically got it in a trade so i can't say how much i paid for it, i know i will probly never sell it tho.
i was suprised to find out how cheap the old bassmans are too.
considering that a re-issue fender tube amp combo is a minimum of like 700 bucks.
i wish i could have seen the pics of that beast before it ended.
