I saw a band called Monotonix from Israel. The guitarist was rocking a Mustang like that with hotrails. Sounded immense.

I have a Hotrail in my orange 'Stang, the volume drop between that and the stock pup is huge. Plugging the stock Mustang into the same amp setting sounds like i have taken the volume down 3 notches and half'd the gain. They must measure something like 7.0k, im sure Hotrails are about 16k.
