anyone seen any jags recently?

Post by robert(original) »

i kinda figured i would increase the hunt for a vintage jag by asking all of you kind folks if you have seen any recently.
im looking for anything between 62-78 that has all the original guts.
im not concerned about shape, or finish.
as long as it can easily be fixed or is still somewhat functional im interested.
my budget caps out at about 2500.00
there are two on g-base that im investigating right now.
one is a 64, re-finnished, all og otherwise for 2200
and the other is a 72 or so that is really beat up with og case for like 2 grand.
there is also a really messed up 67 for about 1500.00 but its pretty messed up.

email the guy and see if he has more pics?
He grades the condition as "good" and with the water marks and lack of closeups it's hard to tell what condition it's in.

Shit man, I don't think vintage is going to be any better than that.

it does. It's a super-rarity, one of the things you could custom order back in the cbs days.

I'm a sucker for those 70's styled telecaster headstocks. I like the way TELECASTER fits on there.

someone got that 66 for 2,100.00 plus 47 bucks for shipping, that is amazing.
i wish i would have done it, but im glad i didn't becuz..
well 2,100.00 altho its a great deal, its still alot of fucking money,.
if fender started importing the jap jags with blocks and binding they would be wicked expensive, i'd guess 1,000.00 new, and that would jump up the used price for AVRI'S which i have not yet ruled out getting another one becuz i was so in love with mine when i got it.
