My SD-1 died, mikes fault lol

it lights up on batteries and mains, tried the cables, still nothing.

not taken it apart yet, i blame mike as it was his vid that made me want to use mine again. :)

Doh. Weird. Maybe something with the jacks? I've never really heard of boss pedals just dying like that?

now it's half working, makes dial up modem noise which are louder when pedal engaged.

You mean "dead" as in no sound, but the power light comes on? The jack is fuckered most likely.

Probably a short on the input jack to ground, just my guess based on what you said.

i've chased the culprit. it's the power supply. it caused nearly all my drive and boost pedals to make modem noises.
