can someone lend me $170,000?

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

have a look at this auction- the guy has an insane amount of stuff.

I will consider a trade for a nice 3 bedrooms house with a clean title.
would anyone here make themselves homeless for that gear? you could build a new house out of archtop bodies and strings.

It's been on there at least once before. If someone was serious about selling all of that stuff they'd set up a basic site full of pictures that was easy to browse.

I don't know if any of them are particularly valueable (in the way a 1st year strat or certain early year les pauls are) but surely they would split it down a bit? Even selling the Fenders seperate to the Gibsons would much increase his chances of selling it all.

I think he's hoping some entrepreneur who wants to open up a studio will come along and snatch up all that vintage.

I love the way shipping to Europe is $3,800.00, and that involves him sending it all in a container. I have enough problems disposing of huge cardboard boxes, let alone that shit. He best be willing to combine shipping for multiple items with that deal.

I'm sure after enough wasted listings and if he wants the money enough he'll get the sense to split.

Nice collection, the fiesta red looks orange to me. Maybe I'm going color blind.
I would NOT make myself homeless for 170,000$ worth of gear.

Fiesta red looks so orange that I don't consider it red at all. Like, it's a stretch for anyone who doesn't know Fender's official name for it to see one and go "red guitar", at least with the jag-stangs.

Yeah, Jag-stangs come in two colours, orange and green.
