I always liked then ibanez acoustics, couldn't find one to try out when I was looking though.

cheers guys! yeah, it really was a nice pickup. the takamine's in the price range just felt wayyyyyy to light and sounded too tinny to my ears. there was a fender acoustic electric, but it didn't have a cut away (not that i play WAYYYY up on the neck, but sometimes I capo shit high up, so yeah), and the dead strings on there made me wonder if it sound as "warm" with new strings...i think i got a good deal...

i'm digging it for sure. i plugged it in and tracked a little bit with it tonight and i really like the tone of it plugged in too.
