If you have a box I could do it for jacks for sure. The parts would be like £15, it's the drilling of the case and painting it etc and the case itself which drives the price up from there

That'd be great mate, I guess if you leave a fair bit of length on the jack wires it'll be an easy fit guaranteed.

If you figure out exactly what it'll cost you in parts and postage to me, and whack some "labour" on there too and lemme know.

Or you could just send me the case and I'll build it into it? Or will that be too cmplicated because it's in Bognor?

I can build it and get it out to you sans case though if that's what you want.

Just to save my rents finding it and forwarding it to you, sans box would be ideal if that's okay mate.

How are you going to power the LED?

I can hang a battery snap off there or leave you a red wire to connect to a DC jack positive point. You connect the ground side to the jack grounds. I'll coil the wires to the jacks to keep it as tidy as I can make it without wiring into a case in situ, which is obviously how to get the best results.

I've just realised I don't have enough jacks to do this. Fuck nuts.

LED-less is fine; as I said, it's gonna be very obvious which mode it's in.

Bumz @ lack o' jacks. I've got a few at home (probably in the Bluesbreaker casing), but that's not here :x

I could probably get my dad to send it your way, it seems it might make this a lot easier.

I'll be putting in an order soon and I'll get some jacks then, but I won't have any parts for a week at least. Sorry mate.

Any use?

To be honest, I only really need it for our gig on the 28th, so any time up til then is grand. If you reckon it'll take longer, then there's no hurry.

I can definitely do it by then if I have the jacks and the case. Get the case out to me and I'll make an order for jacks today, I also might be able to salvage a couple from pedals I don't use. Having the case will really help though.

Okay dude, no probs- like I said, I know there's a few jacks in there (if not 4, a good couple) to make it easier. I'll give him a shout now, can you PM me your address of choice?

Just thinking outloud, but how much extra wiring and components would be needed to make the box two-moded? The first mode to work as discussed, and the second to work as an A/B box using just one of the outputs? Or either output, if it makes the wiring easier..

Don't take this as a "change my order now you've got parts", just been mulling on it..

Um.

So another mode would be standard A/B box?

Currently I'll be using the 3PDT switch poles to do this:

PA Output - switch between Ground and Korg Input

FX Output - switch between Guitar Input and Ground

LED - switch between Colour 1 and Colour 2

Now what I could do is add a toggle switch which grabs the Korg Input path of the PA Output switch pole and switches THAT between Korg Input and Guitar Input.

So then you'll be flipping the Guitar Input between the PA Output Jack and the FX Output Jack in that mode. Is that the shit you want?
