The Strat is a Japan made Fender short scale Stratocaster, not a Squire and not a Mini. It came with a Fender gig bag which is different then the Squire Mini gig bag. The serial # is O03461X, so I would put it as a 1993/94. It has a 5 way switch and loads of quality, not like a Squire Mini
The Jazzmaster I bought new and it has been stored most of its life.
It is all original.
As you can see I also keep all the original paperwork.

As I remember the Silvertone guitar was about 4 to 5 inches thick and really dug into my arm. It had a single pickup, black in color with a black neck. It had something like a Dwayne Eddy era guitar shape. It had no truss rod and the neck was beginning to get an arch to it. The string were about 1/3 inch off the neck at the 12 fret.
I only have a scanned copy of the bill of sale out at this time. The original is stored in the Jazzmaster case and is in storage. The next time I get it out to tune it, I will check the original. The copy is not real plain but it looks like
trade - in Silvertone guitar No.6351161 & case - ($) 87.56

I don't ever remember changing anything on the Jazzmaster except the strings. I liked the setup that it came with and I went along with the old saying that "If it isn't broke, Don't fix it". I have never experienced any strings jumping positions in the bridge or intonation problems that everyone else complains about. I did put AEBGDA strings on it and tuned it EBGDAE and it played great. I put 9s on and didn't like them. they hurt my fingers. It has had 11/50 with a wound 3rd on for a long time. Never has it has round wound on it, always Flatwound. I get it out about two times a year to check the tuning, play it about 30 min, and wipe it down, and then store it away.
Last month, I had a roof repair man out to check my roof and he saw a guitar that I was building in the garage and ask if I played. I told him I collected dust on my guitars more then I played. He told me where his band played and what kind of guitars he had. I had just checked the Jazzmaster out and hadn't returned it to storage. I ask if he wanted to give it a try. He jumped at the chance. I had him remove his coat and his belt, and put a towel in his lap to protect the guitar finish. He sat down and started to play. I never could get the sounds out of that guitar that he could. My wife and I sat there for about 30 minutes and listened to the sweetest sounds. I almost had to pry it out of his hands to get him to leave. (OH! There was NO Charge for fixing my roof.) He left his card and his home phone # on it and said to call him anytime I needed my roof and guitar checked out.
