the timmy is definately a bit fuller overall and the transparent OD has more mids but it's bloody close.

The way the notes decay doesn't sound quite the same to me, but I'm not technical, they sound smoother on the dano to me and a tiny bit more gritty on the Timmy.

WTF am I talking about?! :D

Close but not the same. The Timmy sounds more...*ahem*....transparent, ie less mids.

It's certainly a similar character but the voicing is quite different. Those probably aren't the correct terms but there's something different enough that I feel I can say with confidence that the Timmy sounds better and it not just mojo associations and the like. I think perhaps part of that is the Timmy is often louder than the Dano, probably due to the fact the guy is a Timmy fan (judging by the intro) and sub-consciously or otherwise gave the Timmy a helping hand with a bit of a volume boost. The dano has akward sounding treble though, a bit of blanket effect, and the bass isn't quite as transparent or whatever you wanna call it. I suppose in a sense that's a roundabout way of saying the mids are different, but to me it sounds more like difference in the treble and bass content than the mids, even if it is caused by a different mid emphasis.

It doesn't sound bad by any means, and it's very clearly a similar pedal.

I just got mine. Been playing with it.

It's not nearly as muffled as that demo makes it sound, I dunno wtf he did. I can get some great clear sounds from it. I'm loving it right now.

Dunno and don't care. It just brought to the forefront a great $40 overdrive pedal I never would have considered buying otherwise.

The reason knickers are in a twist is because it was previously a 7month wait and $120 to get those sounds. Elitist cunts don't like it when any old Jimmy can join their club.

mines here!

definately something special this little thing, the layout is a bit shite but you can defiantely shape the sounds alot. it sounds alot better to me that it does in that video, sounds like he had the bass off half the time.
