Nice buy. Looks like a 69 RI? I got one and planned to change the pg, but it's really grown on me so I will probably end up keeping it Blue+Tort.

I have yet to decide if I'm gonna buy a gaurd for the new one, I want to keep it stock and perfect condition. But I have another blue tort lefty mustang that I've been thinking about changing the gaurd on.
I'm picking it up tomorrow, post pics then.

I'm trying to find a lefty gaurd so I won't have two of the same, no luck :(. But I'm not giving up my quest! Just to be clear this new one is staying stock.

Change the old one you have and leave the new one stock (as you just said.)

So the two main opinions/options are Mint and Pearl, personally I like the pearl on blue, so I'm just going to keep my search on.

I'm all for a jag, I would prefer one in lefty to a flipped one, I "attempted" to play a classic player on saturday.
And oddly enough I found this on eBay right after I put money down on my new mustang. But it's nice to have a actual new guitar finally.

what sort of reply is that?

ask william to find you a guard, he clearly knows what you want better than you do.

im just being silly.

pearl would be fine, too. ive recently found a new love in mint guards on pastellish guitars, and i also cant help but think of TEH JAGSTANGZZ when i see blue/pearl combo, but obviously its your guitar and you can do what you want with it.

i was going to try and be stubborn and mono-tri syllabic for as long as i could stand it, and see what happened, but then when zaphod got involved i got scared, and bailed.
