re-finished the neck, and put different electronics in it?

nah, refinished the body and neck - sanded back, relaquered, changed electronics to HB size p90s with a full rewire and change of pots (CTS) and caps (sprague) and 3 way switch. changed tuners to klusons, changed ferrules (had to route out) to fender vintage, changed neck plate to fender, changed bridge to a steel plate with bent steel saddles.

thats better!
thats what we are really interested in.
im suprised yours looks so nice, i wonder what mine looks like, i always guessed mine was agathis, but never paid that much attention to it all.

i was going to repaint it but the wood was pretty good. i think it is that agathis stuff, very light. but i just use it as a guitar that i can take to gigs in dodgy places
adn not be too concerned about it being damaged/stolen

got it with the headstock decal, lame, i dunno, depends i guess. the pickups are just a no name brand p90 which sound quite nice.

i guess if you go around telling people "this is a custom shop" that is lame. but i just put it there for a laugh really
