I just picked this up a few hours aghttp://www.shortscale.org/forum/posting.php?mo ... y&t=22650o, I've been playing it and just got around to taking pics.
Both, 93-94 is on the right, Brand new on left, (from Fender Japan it has never been played until today)
With amp.
It's Daphne blue and Brown tort.
Head stock.
To contrast colors the one on left is the old one and has yellowed, the one on right is brand new.
More Contrast.
Paperz.

Uh what do you mean vaseline? I'm pretty sure its just the lighting.
I was planning to change off the red tort stang, until I had them side by side and decided that they just look to good to change any thing on either.
But I love them both, never thought it would be possible that I would find a brand new lefty.

those photos are all out of focus, people put vaseline on the lens to intentionally cause blur.

It's definitely not a 65RI. It's a '69.
Literally NOTHING about it suggests otherwise.
- Wrong Tuners
- Wrong scratchplate
- No scratchplate gap
- Wrong robroe covers
- Contours it shouldn't have.
It is a '69RI. If you thought it was a' 65 RI then someone CHUMPED you, Chump.
Do your homework, this is all Basic stuff.

And a million other things:DanHeron wrote:I new it! 65 RI = blue and pearl.Mike wrote:It's definitely not a 65RI. It's a '69.
- Daphne Blue not Sonic Blue
- Aged Pearl not Tort
- Pickguard shrink
- Better bridge
- Better pickups
- White Plastic Peg Kluson Tuners
- Slab body, no contours
- Black robroes and switches as opposed to white
Yeah yeah. The body and guard colour is the most obvious thing, first thing I would look at. Apparently my 69 RI has a 67 RI neck... well, i think thats what the classifieds ad said. It has white button tuners, deffinately not a 69RI neck. Although, I have never seen a 67' RI?Mike wrote:And a million other things:DanHeron wrote:I new it! 65 RI = blue and pearl.Mike wrote:It's definitely not a 65RI. It's a '69.
