it's what i'm watching at the moment. a few chuckles before bedtime.
i too need to invest in these mojo tone batteries. there's times when i'd love the Duo-fuzz to work on battery power to see what that and the starve knob would do.

it's weird, the starve knob kinda acts like a noise gate for the pedal. it's very subtle in it's power starving.benecol wrote:Ummmmm... The same thing?Progrockabuse wrote:there's times when i'd love the Duo-fuzz to work on battery power to see what that and the starve knob would do.

Yeah, I could have put a bigger pot in but then you just get silence for a bit of the range. the Duo-Fuzz doesn't oscillate like some fuzzes when you Starve it. It just gets gated and crispy.Progrockabuse wrote:it's weird, the starve knob kinda acts like a noise gate for the pedal. it's very subtle in it's power starving.benecol wrote:Ummmmm... The gutshot of that first pedal makes me want to think about it the next time I'm gettin' down.
I think Danelectro marketed a sapped battery as the "vintage voltage" or something like that.Mike wrote:That's the aforementioned Tesco Value battery. It's not underpowered by accident. Fuzzheads love them.
