This guitar is fore sale in Germany and is advertised as a early 1970's no-brand guitar from Japan.
Plywood body, full maple neck, no truss rod?? Any estimate regarding value?
Does it actually say it has no truss rod? It could be on the heel of the neck and only accessible/visible with the pickguard removed, like an attempt at the style of older fenders/acoustic guitars.
Though if it is just a cheap no-name jobby from the 70s it's highly possible it doesn't have a truss rod.

Could be a Zenta, Fresher or Orion... There were a lot of Mustang copies at one point, especially Jap, they have been popular over there since the 70's. A lot of early Jap copies were ply as well. Looking at the bridge i'd say Zenta, very similar to early Satellite.
Hondo in Korean sort of means "(my) soul, also". A good translation of that into normal English would seem to be "not really it", especially judging by that nontonation bridge and diet stripes.

Not quite, but the word hon plus suffix do enables the presence of a negating verb to follow (and occasionally doesn't require it, especially in colloquialisms), which means the word can be defined as "soulless", or more accurately "doesn't even have a soul" or "is not (even a) soul". A bit of a stretch de la lexicon, but you get the idea. A intrasearch yielded a number of cultures who have a usage of the name "Hondo", so...so much for teh exclusive ultrafunnies.
I haven't ever seen one with a cool trem like that. Here's one I sold on ebay last year. It was pretty much SHIT, but would be great for BLACK LIPS style stuff.
Haha those stripes are pretty whimpy, never seen one like that before
