jaguar parts Q's

Post by othomas2 »

What do I need to look for when buying replacement tuners for fender shortscales ?

Would these fit in a jag neck o.k. ?

Also, has anyone tried to fitting mustang covers on jag pickups ? .... would it work with guard modifications ?

Cheers, just lookin for some feedback.

Unless you modify the guard to have smaller holes to fit them. the robroe covers look gash on jags.

Well a row of tuners on a plate isn't going to match the screw holes on a Jag head, since it's got individual tuners. The odds of the tuner spacing exactly matching the holes on the head would seem pretty low to me.

Ah, didn't notice that.... well spotted ;) cheers. I think I seen a set that weren't joined, but maybe not.

I've removed the claws from my jag pups and quite liked the clean look, so thought I'd go one step further and consider stang covers & go away from the stock look... boys will play !!

Yeh, I will definitely have them if you a willing to wait for a week or two ?!? (I know everyone says that !! ) I get paid later in the month (that too), but still owe £350 to my bro for my car that needed repairing last week (blah blah), so don't think i will see much dosh after I've paid him back (blah). I plan to sell a few pedals and stuff on the bay too to create further fundage.

It's on the top of my shopping list. Just didn't wanna string you a long so to speak. What price are you after matey ?
