I've had a really tough time building my byoc octave fuzz

so this is my 2nd pedal and its been giving me some trouble.. i put in a transitor in backwards... and it was a bitch to fix... i populated everything and after wireing it up i got some fuzz but the LED wouldnt light up... so i checked all the connections redid it and now the led goes on but the pedal doesnt make noize when active..
a problem ive been having is that the wires will break periodiclly where they are soldered to something.... maybe im clipping them too small.. heres some old pics... i'lll try to get some more soon

That wiring is a mess. You probably have a break in that overheated labyrinth of filth.
Start again. Get some solid core. Take your time and make your wires as long as they need to be (measure them before you cut them), not too long, not too short..
I worry about the integrity of the transistor joints up the top there after all that reheating. You should be using desoldering braid to remove solder when removing components.
