if any of youse are about in glesga on wednesday night (25th) my lot are doing a gig in bloc on bath street.

i've never heard of the bands we're playing with, and i'm so lazy i can't be bothered to look and see what they're like (will do it later......) but the guy who's putting the gig on knows his stuff.

if any west coast shortscalers are in the vicinity feel free to come along and throw some rotten veg, unleash catcalls etc.

see flyer below-

I always enjoy cycling up the hill Bar Bloc is on.

I shall make a note in my diary. I assume by no price it is a free gig. I don't I've ever paid to see a band at Bloc.

no idea if they're charging, not my gig. but yeah, i'd assume he'd have put a price on the flyer if there was one. mind you, i'd expect a time too...

but if they do charge i'll make sure you don't have to pay, you tight bastard.

it's not really a proper venue is it? more like a bar with a 3 foot square corner cleared of tables, if it's the place i'm thinking of. cymbal stands poking you in the eyes, that kind of thing.

Yeah pretty. Horribly venue more suited to DJs. Pizzas are alright though.

Ach, i'm not that fussed about the venue, i'm not treating it as a major gig or anything.

I'm sorry I missed this.

I've just been enjoying a wee listen on myspace and am suitably impressed.

I shall attempt to get along on the 28th March.

Any other Shortscalers playing in Glasgow or Edinburgh should also pipe up about their gigs. Definitely.
