i love this guitar so much.

they had a gold top one at HOG. it still had the pickguard on it. i think the pickguard was white...or it could have been gold too.

anyways. i would stare at it for hours trying to figure out how the pickguard stayed on the guitar w/o screws. what kind of fucking guitar company would glue a pickguard on a guitar?

also.

WHITE TOGGLEYS are fucking impossible to buy anymore.

every thing is fucking creme. finding a white one is damn near fucking impossible. the only way you can get them is to unscrew them off of gibson robot guitars

Doog has/had a contempory tele.

The black tele elite is fantastic looking. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I ever saw one for sale at a reasonable price.

Doog had a contemporary tele as well as that Squier carvetop HH tele thing that p-rail dude [sorry for the impromptu name, p-rail dude] is modifying when he was in his Pixies tribute.

I really like that
“I need to take a piece of wood and make it sound like the railroad track, but I also had to make it beautiful and lovable so a person playing it would think of it in terms of his mistress, a bartender, his wife, a good psychiatrist - whatever. Les Paul

time to dig up the dead. as it took a fucking year but i got my Tele Elite back
and robroe had asked me to take some shots of the pickups with the covers off
turns out, the covers don't come off that is the fucking pickup!

so yeah..
► Show Spoiler
under the covers the body looks white. so this cream may have started out white, and sat in a smoking room for about 17 years before i got it.

P-rails tele or bust!
I would say it's wrong to take a switch tip off of a guitar in a shop by I took a jewel light bulb a few weeks back from guitar center because they were massive fucking pricks and it was off a used amp that was torn literally to shreads

Elite Tele would agree: Anarchy FTW
