this was a new Jagmaster II. Any jagmaster can be refinished to be "excalibur" for cheaps. I picked this one up from craigs list for $150. It had a nice gig bag, strap locks and strap. The pickups are dragonfire creambuckers. They are super distortion clones and sound great. Plus they only cost $30 for the pair.

If robroe gets a jagmaster and wants the neck refinished.....I can do it for you and make you a custom decal that says excalibur instead of jagmaster.

What's the pickup route like under the pickguard? Is it a swimming pool route? I've been contemplating getting a new Jagmaster and putting Strat pickups in it.
Good news! Jagmaster II's do have a swimming pool route. I remember this from refinishing mine, last year. I can only assume this is also the case with the Vistas.

Very nice... maybe I'll hang onto that Jagmaster body I've got lying around and do something similar.

I make the decals on water slide decal paper in my printer. then I use a gold paint pen to color the letters in. Then I clear of that to prevent any paint smears while attaching it to the headstock.

Cool, thanks!

Nice job with the gold paint pen... it looks like it was actually printed that way.
