Alright shortscale, I could of sworn there was a really small fender amp head maybe (Bassman) but i cant remember what model all i know is it was the size of a mini amp head.
So... Do you know anything about it??
well, i do know that in like 79 they instroduced a solid state bassman head that was incredibly small, im watching one on ebay right now.
and they are almost the exact size of a TT(im just guessing by pictures) but have a slant.
YOu don't want to make a mini stack based on an old fender solid state amp. They are not that good.
You also might be thinging of the reverb units. They look like an old fender head, but in reality are just a tube reverb unit. They will not power a speaker cabinet, they are an effect.

If worst comes to worst (I wont be able to find it wise). Then i'll try the solid state (i've been playing a transtube peavey anything kind of is a step up from that). If i dont like the SS Bassman then ill chop a champ and what not.
But you gotta remember that there were a few different variants of the Bassman during the 60's-70's so my search isn't entirely impossible.

There are but im so hung up on this amp, Its killing me.
I'll find it im sure eventually but for now.
I've been looking for a new amp for sometime now and when i saw it i couldn't forget it.
(I wish i would of saved the picture so could of found it quicker)
my guess is that it was a one off custom made one, not a production model. I am always looking at differnet bassmans (and have owned a couple), but heve never seen or heard of this.
