Cutting
BOARD or doormat
No offense, but the tiny boards just don't do it for me.

The butt end is much too flat looking, the top horn is wrong and.. oh yeah.. it's made from about 70 pieces of wood.
This sort of thing is definitely fairly unusual on UK ebay though. You're lucky to find a standard strat on there lately.

This is the 4th of these i've seen, seems they're made from kitchen worktops.
I counted 29 pieces on one of them (sad!)

HOLY CRAP! that is alot of lil peices of wood.
its gotta be cut from a kitchen cutting board, i can't imagine some jackass actually gluring all of that together and thinking "this will produce a rich tone!"

i actually just reminded myself of phils guitar, i think i made it 2 summers ago, but it was originally a bar top from a small town bar.
it was like 13-14 peiecs of knotty pine, and some of them looked nice, but they were flat sawn , qtr sawn, fuct sawn, but knots and holes, and a few times he had shred out as big as a thumb or middle finger, but i was always able to find it and glue it back on.

the wood is Ash, so it should have a lovely rich sound when finished.

Step one: place guitar on wooden floor.
Step two: trace.
Step three: Cut.
Step four: Ebay.
Step five: fail.

Fuck me, that thing is dire. Gladly everyone on Ebay realised that it was a piece of shit and it only sold for £1.20.
