I dig it. Love the CBS headstock. Who did the relic work?
“I need to take a piece of wood and make it sound like the railroad track, but I also had to make it beautiful and lovable so a person playing it would think of it in terms of his mistress, a bartender, his wife, a good psychiatrist - whatever. Les Paul
The body relicing looks great all except for the bit near the arm contour. I think it's because it looks like it has gloss on the top rather than being just bare wood. Perhaps it's just an odd reflection. The rest looks superb though.
cool, I dig the blonde. there's a 70s strat in a local shop here that is like that, so secksy. the only thing that looks obviously wrong to me is it looks like it yellowed and then wore. when IRL it would have yellowed as it wore.
I think the cigarette burn ruins it for me, but it's otherwise a nice job. I don't get why all people who do fake relics have to get carried away and do the cigarette burn...

Even if half of all guitars had cigarette burns on the headstock, why do 100% of fake relics tend to have it these days? It just seems like all the relicers get carried away at the idea of getting to burn their piece.

Doesn't really matter. At least he pulled it off, the amount of poly'd fenders I've seen with a bubbled-up clear area near the low E and thought "oh my, you plonker."
Let's face it, having a cigarette burn on your headstock only really makes you look like you left a fag end in the strings and damaged your instrument, which is lame in and of itself. Use an ashtray, Sideshow Bob!
