i got the LPB with matching stock(yes we have the same guitar hurb) jaguar in today.
i actually did a load of erands before i could even start to assemble it.
brief overview.
its stock, and its "crafted"
good feel, the condition is pretty good, there is some wood missing on the bass side of the first fret(rosewood, you don't feel it)
the frets had some wear on em so i leveld and crowned the bastards, a couple paint scuffs, but that just makes it look cool.
i hate the pickups, its official, the avri jag pups are far, far, superior, i don't know what the main difference is, i would guess mojo.
all i have done so far is put a mute on it, and string it up, the action is set just about right, but im going to play on it for a few days and see how it feels before i set the intonation and all that jazz, plus im wanting to replace the plain white guard with something snazzy.
at anyrate.
pics!

Very nice. Any idea what guard you're gonna put on there? That blue might look nice with a gold guard with black PU covers. Or just a black guard.

No, as much as the LPB blue one looked awesome. The CAR MIM one was a better sounding guitar hands down. The pups are much better.

yeah, im wanting to demo how much the jag pups really suck.
i mean they have a great "sound" all thier own, but as far as versatility goes, they are the shitz on the butts of the dogs at the parks!
a guy came over yesterday with all sorts of questions about what i do, so i made a pg in front of him to demonstrate some stuff, so now it has an aged MOP guard on it, looks much better.

as luck would have it my personal computer took a shit about 4 days ago(thats why i haven't been around)
so im using an older computer that i don't even want to try uploading pics to, shit would crash, and burn.
lee is coming down today to do some work in the shop, if he brings his camera i will get some shots of it.
im thinking that im going to need to get ages pup covers cuz the more i look at it the bright white sticks out too much.

I swear an identical guitar was tempting me at the Orland Park, IL Music Go Round. I'm not sure if I'm relieved or sad that someone finally bought it. I secretly wanted it to sit there for a while so I could try to make a deal with the guys, but then again I don't really need another Jaguar. Anyway, great buy, I love that color!
