no doubt about that
but seeing him bash away at a 62 jag that someone might buy is a bit odd business practices
"i know you're going to buy this matress, but first i'm going to have this guy jump and piss on it, possibly at the same time
THEN we'll sell you the matress..." -Matress salesman
It's like he wants to be Sloan, but doesn't posses enough awesome to pull it off.
The ultimate Les Paul TV Junior! This featherweight guitar weighs 7.40 lbs. Solid mahogany body with that oh-so-perfect late '58 / '59 thick profile one-piece mahogany neck. Brazilian rosewood fretboard with twenty-two original late '58 style thin frets.
I don't see how such a perfect example of an LP junior from the 50s could have original frets. If it was as good as the description says it is, it would have been played enough that it would have needed, or now need, a refret.
I would take a thousand of this guy and his infectious enthusiam for ROCKING THE GUITAR over those two douches who sit and diss the shortscales. I think he's great, he's doing EXACTLY what I would in his position.
Look at this state of this '62 Jaguar! Fiessstaaaa Red baby!
"those two douches who sit and diss the shortscales."
haha, it took me a second to figure out who you were talking about.
those guys called my melody maker "a fun little guitar for banging out garage rock" but his attitude made it sound like "all you can play is budget style amateur rock on this old student model. play it til you get a real guitar, like a les paul custom or a strat."
i assume minutes 2-10 were of them 'jamming' on them, but i clicked the button once they started playing.

Speaking as someone who has seen Mike demo an amp, I can confirm that the above is true. At one stage he started mugging at and chatting to a camera thatwasn't there.

my mum brought me the interactive guitar bible for christmas. it's basically a dvd and a book about guitars. it's published by jawbone press, same as those videos.
it's that tall twat that can't look at the camera and a member of XTC, dave gregory. dave was cool, but that tall twat fucks me off.
Fender Classic Player 60’s Stratocaster>East Coast T1 Tele>
Epiphone Les Paul SL>Ovation 12 String acoustic>Peavey Strat DIY Relic
Marshall Origin 20H>James’s old purple 2x10
Marshall MG10 Combo
They dissed all the fenders except the strats and teles.
There videos are alright at points. (They Gave the XII compliments) but...
Why didn't they demo Jaguars?
The tuning peg thing was Ozzy's guitarist in the early '80s or something like that, I remember reading an interview with the guy who seemed to have that as his signature piece of flair. He didn't like Floyd Roses but every other note had to be a divebomb back then, so he started bunging the low E tuner peg down and up again really quick.
It was one of those "look, this guy's still alive and the bands we really want to cover are touring europe" articles.
