That's an awfully curious wear area behind the bridge there. I wonder if this guitar was ever strummed, you know, over the strings.

Either that or it's a horrible attempt at spackling over that crack.

the guys on HC electric guitar forum who are big into ricks are mentioning it being overpriced by about 3-500, i hope my tax return is decent this year, i may be tempted to stick with my mesa as a clean amp for this thing, it's just too perfect to pass on.

One thing you should know is that Rickenbacker had a problem with the black hardware. The "R" tailpieces in black were more brittle than the chrome and broke more easily. That is why they stopped making them.Maybe this is only a problem with 12 strings.

good to know.

i tried playing the "i'm concerned about the overall condition of the hardware as it is hard to find replacements" card when asking about it, i doubt that will move the price much but worth a shot i suppose.

not a fan. normal 360s are so beautiful, man.

jetglo 330's are the most beautiful guitars ever, imo.

I didn't realize there was a point to a 6 string ric?... JK.

But I would never consider a 6 string ric the best ric...Either 12 string guitar or 4 string bass.

I would love that finish in a bass or a 12 string though.
They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...

Sorry, I had to revise the ebay ad; there's actually no case for the guitar. It came to us without one.
a rather disconcerting reply imo

I have a Ric and i like a lot of guitarists that use Rickenbackers.
The jetglo gets boring imo.

That is an amazing colour combo. Never would have imagined it being on a ric, but it suits. I love it.

its common, it suits it so well i never get tired of it.

i said 'anyhow, im sure it still sounds great.' and you said 'Sorry, but i disagree with your post entirely.' so i was clarifying if you meant to include that in your disagreement, thats all.

what kind of ric do you have, anyway? honestly, id take just about any ric, even this kitschy rt66 one. i like how divisive it is, too.
