They're part of what make him so much better at guitar than you.

Better to be an Egoist than a snivelling wretch. I feel bad about the Telecaster, it's not had much love since the Jaguar came along. It's my alternate tuning guitar now.

Good choice my friend

I remember this like it was yesterday; me and my mates declared the manics the greatest band in the world the day after this originally aired. And the thin line tele the greatest guitar in the world. I only new three chords A D E, but I wanted the Richie’s tele to play them on.

I bought a Telecaster because I went on Fender.com in 2002 having not known much about instruments (to quote Maurice Moss Never had the interest really...) and it was my second favourite guitar. Thought I'd work towards my first. Tried to take a few shortcuts, but there's no point rushing processes I've found... they tend to happen when they happen. That's why I currently have only 2 electrics in my Telecaster and Teisco.

Wow, tangent much? Anyway. I'd say Bruce Springsteen most influence me. Growing up rather 'ethnic' I went to at least 1 formal event per week up until I was 16 which included a lot of weddings and so forth. It's like there was either a baby shower or wedding every week. Terrible. Anyway, the cover bands would basically play lots of that kind of stuff and ACDC was always 'too mucho' (yes, they play that shite even at weddings!)...
