Yuu's Tele

Post by ultratwin »

Has anyone else seen this?

A recent google photo search of GO!GO!7188 revealed an evolution of Yuu's Telecaster sometime around early Fall '07 that I wasn't aware of. I believe it was initially a custom Nashville Tele jammed to bridge position(?) 5-way on the lower horn with a screwed-in pic, just a month later sighted with a tasteful refin and a 3-way controlling a very closely-spaced bridge single coiler and some SD rails. Not so hot about red sparkle, but she can really rock hard so I'll give her at least one thumb up for the VWH metamorphosis.

Holy moly, there is something about the refined Double Bridge Power Incarnation that I love.

sparkle guitars ftw

love the red tele with bigsby ! not so much the star inlays and pearloid pickguard, would look nicer with just a plain white pickguard i think

but teles with bigsby's are just classy, oh and can never have too much bridge pickups lol fuck some neck pickups haha

The red sparkle wins my vote; I prefer the layout of the pickups (and the finish).

All this having been said I prefer black haired Yuu with the vintage white tele.

GoGo7188 came to NYC a couple years ago, I really wanted to go but my friends backed out last minute.

The slowly emerging lurve for red sparkle around these parts pleasantly surprises me a bit.

I'm almost exclusively partial to a large-flake scumbag silver, but dig the above no less. :P

I've always loved sparkle finishes. My Jagmaster is probably the first gutiar I completely fell in love with.

That red tele look so good that I probably wouldn't even mind the Bigsby trem on it.

Ooooo, it's VINTAGE SPARKLE TELE break time, just for the lovers. Nothing like a nice 'n' big image.
