Jetglo certainly looks the business, but it's an absolute bastard to keep clean. Also, the solid finish on Rickenbackers consists of quite a thin coat. On the one hand, purists will argue that this doesn't influence the tone of the guitar; on the other hand, the finish chips really easily -- as I discovered with my first 330.

I've been thinking about getting a 12 string RIC lately, I love my DC-12 but after my first gig with it wednesday I think I want something a little nicer. I played a 330/12 but couldn't stand the baseball bat neck with the skinny fretboard, felt really out of place on a 12 string.

I think a black italia rimini is in order for me in a few months.

thats how i felt when i played one too. the six strings feel nice, but i cant get into the 12s.

i know that ric makes different neck widths, tho.

How are the 620's compared to the 330's necks? That's probably the other option I have if I go Rickenbacker for my next 12
