mustang for me is = gories

well i don't know what the fuck he's playing but i always like that contour and liked nasal sounding guitars, then i saw a demo that dude of the pillows did and i was sold.

I never wanted one lol. Then i bought LRCs orange 65'er (im a bit mad like that) and realised how awesome the Mustang actually is.
My only hero on a Mustang (that i can think of) is recent, and that is Belinda Butcher. I think one of the guys in 'the Longcut' use one, and there has been the odd thing here and there. I suppose i'd better mention Kurdtz, although i thought the 'Stang hung like a piece of shit on him in comparison to the Jag.

when i saw with the lights out that rehearsal i thought it was cool he was using mustang, i didn't know mbv when i got my mustang either, klaxons i saw them on the tv but already had my mustang so it kind of reassured its coolness lol


also i think i kind of got a mustang because i could get them lefty from japan and it was cheaper than the jag haha...but i'm glad i did, don't think i'd ever switch to another guitar

When I got mine I guess the were considered toys.And mine was so cheap I had to buy it.Don't know anybody who played one back then.

I bought my first Mustang because I didn't have much money, but wanted a Fender. The Mustang was the only guitar with the Fender logo the pawn shop had for 150 bucks. I didn't know about scale or that anyone played them.
It was cheap and I bought it.

I'll admit i bought my first Mustang because of Kurt, it was a '69 RI '96 50th anniv. White with red tort pickguard, bought brand new.
I cant remember if it was $299 or $349 still have it today.
