I've just about had it with the stock bridge on my Jazzmaster. Fucking low "e" is worked its way so low the string is flush with the back of the bridge and slides over even when you play lightly.

I've read where the radius doesn't match up and the modified one by warmouth looks like it's got the grub screws to....so I wonder if it would still have those issues.

Any thoughts?

You mean the height of the saddle drops, right? Some people use clear nail varnish to glue the grub screws in place on re-issue spec Jazzmasters and Jaguars, the guys from Los Straightjackets suggested it in a GP interview and other circa late 90s retro surf acts did it. The issue is re-issue saddles being made for much lighter strings than on vintage jags and jazzies; the height screws sometimes give out and slip on the lower, heavier tension strings' saddles from the downward force.
Superglue would work as well, though obviously harder to eventually undo to adjust (nail polish remover for the former method).

A Mustang bridge would definately be a drop-in replacement, and would certainly not have the height adjustment issues (as you can't adjust the saddles height anyway). I have one in my Jaguar and a shitload of people have performed such a switch on jags/jazzies around here. You don't need the Warmoth one, I'm pretty sure that was intended for people putting them on guitars with a 9.5"/12" radius, such as a Warmoth scratch-built Noodlestang.

Haven't the AVRI Jazzmasters got the old bridge? Perhaps you could fit one of the new adjustomatic bridges to your Jazzmaster?

Yah, they're the old style bridges but I bout an aftermarket Mustang bridge a couple days ago. I fit in nicely and I just restrung it up and no issues thus far...just needs to be intonated (which I've been too lazy to do yet).

So it works pretty well all in all....100% better than the stock bridge (it got to the point of being worthless).
