I always loved the look of these guitars from an artistic standpoint. WandrÃ© Pioli was an interetsing character. Some people actually collect certain Wandre models strictly as art.

From the guitar building standpoint he did a lot of neat things like metal necks with tilt adjustments, long before metal necks became a fashionable building method.
