i've been having a think about my amp and instead of replacing it, i'm gonna change the 12" speaker thats in it.
this might give me a bit more bass and knock a little of the highs off as well. was thinking along the line of an EV 12 L. what speakers do peeps recommend?
plus i've got my ashdown 2x10 bass cab. my blues deluxe as an external speaker out, i think i might try hooking that up.

I'm a big fan of this speaker. It sounds like it would do what you are asking but I've never tried it in a BD but quite a few fender Style amps (6L6's)
