2 things - drill new screw holes and make sure you have conversion bushings to make up for the larger tuner holes.

1 more thing: Check to see that the distance between each hole is correct, or else you may have gaps between each tuner.

most local repair shops should have them

mine didn't so when i put kluson's into my last headstock (on my noisemaster) that had bigger holes they went in with wood glue, and i've had no issues ever.. now if i wanted to refin the headstock, i'd be fucked.

GFS have conversion bushings, I bought a set awhile back and ended up not needing them.

I don't think you'll have to do any drilling if you get the proper size bushings.
I'm old got confused..yeah,just set the klusons where you want them(wait till you get the bushings) and drill pilot holes for teh screws.

Anything is possible. The only limitations are imagination and the necessary equipment.I thought I saw klusons with the LP style knobs somewhere.

don't forget, you will have to dance for the rain gods before you do any of this.
putting the gibby styled plastic bits on may be a bit of a trick tho.

Here's a couple tips I use when installing these tuners.

On the backside of the peghead, draw a straight line on center with the 6 tuner holes on the head stock. Use this line to ensure that your screw mounting holes will all be in a perfectly straight line.

Once you have the bushings pressed in and the tuners in their holes, you can take a small ruler or straight edge of some sort, and put it up against the sides of the tuners. This will force them to be straight. Then, carefully mark each mounting hole (on the guideline you drew) with an awl.

Remove the tuners.

Drill the holes.

You're good to go.

Clean, simple, and perfectly straight.

Yeah that sounds great, how do you think Klusons are compared to the new standard ones?

Good thinking my friend, I remember that Klusons did not fit on a guitar neck of mine because the holes were too far apart.
