hmmm, I havae that.
I didn't get to play it, I was sort of not in a mood to sit around fitturing in a gutiar shop.
were i not now looking at the blackstar i'd be interested in these. even if it's just a TT in a new box it's got a three band EQ, which i'd really like on my TT.
£399, or maybe £369. I can't remember. They'd be the sort of shop that would come down to closer to internet prices though, and stand over the amp for a couple of years. They replaced my Fender Champ for me without me showing them a receipt, like.
The Guitarist review was surprisingly balanced. Apparently it is too noisy for a recording amp (FAIL. FAIL FAIL FAIL), and the solderwork was really shit.
Somebody hasn't been paying the advertisements department enough money. The tone ought to be endearingly raunchy, and the solderwork capturing a folkish simplicity.

Ahhh I don't know. It sounds OK, but frankly my old Orange Tiny Terror (sold last year during a money crunch) had more gain, and sounded raunchier. Sure, the Night Train has a 3 band EQ, and it can do chime better than the Tiny Terror. But, the Tiny Terror sounds better at metal and other heavy rock stylings IMO. Of the two, I prefer the Tiny Terror. Frankly it's a moot point nowadays - I use a 50 watt Marshall.

I have a Tiny Terror for making demos and practise, and this doesn't seem to offer anything the TT can't do when cranked as loud as that thing is.

That makes me think of when Hurb exploded the imac amp at NAMM. He rocked the solder off the input.
