Again I really can't recommend Terrapin Pickguards enough. $31 gets you a basic single or three ply guard. They have a PDF to download so you can cut out and check it fits with your current pickguard. In fact now you cant order without confirming you have done this.

Guys, as it is clear that all Jaguar pickguards are (should be) shielded, and seeing as it didn't fit, can I ask him to shield it? It is CUSTOM after all.
it fits under the pickguard like the jazzmaster and early 60s stratocaster shielding plate.
does it hurt to add adhesive to a guard where the guitar already has a plate? would it help?
nah, I don't think it'd hurt. I think it'd be mostly redundant but it might help a little. If someone wants to do that with their guitar, that's totally cool. I was just trying to point out that not all jaguars have it like that.
Allright folks. He fixed it and sent it back... It fits. Not perfect, a spot near the 3 switches is raise by some unever pressure, but it's hardly noticeable. now time for t3h pics!
