I need a tracing of a Mustang pickguard & control plate

Post by Armchair Bronco »

This may seem like an odd request, but I need a tracing of a Mustang pickguard and control plate.

I'm considering doing a mod to my Squire Jagmaster (the newer 24" short-scale version with a 9.5" fretboard radius) to add a TOM bridge + stoptail and to have angled Mustang-style single-coil pickups and 3-position switches.

To do this, I'll need to have a custom pickguard fabricated that blends elements of the Jagmaster and Mustang pickguards.

What I need is a 100% scale-size tracing of a Mustang pickguard along with tracings of the pickup cutouts & screw holes and the cutouts and screw holes for the two 3-position switches. I don't care about other perimeter screw holes on the Mustang pickguard because they wont work with the routes on my Jagmaster.

Then, I'd also like a 100% scale-size tracing of the Mustang control plate.

I'll offer to "Pay It Forward" by doing a spontaneous good deed! ;)

Solved! Someone just offered to send me a tracing of an Allparts Mustang pickguard & control plate. Thanks! I'll do my good deed as soon as I can. :)
