Just for a toggle switch? I don't see the point for a toggle on a mustang.

that's actually a really nice color. I would leave it just like that and do the toggly too.

ah, i had a 70's and a jag stang and both had one or both switches shit out for no apparent reason. switchcraft FTW.

also, i nabbed that body for $148. i'll probably spend that plus $100 for a fucking neck. unless someone knows where to get one for a decent price. doesn't have to be vintage as it'll probably fit like shit anyhow.

wonder how much i could find a duo neck for...

Odd, two of my stangs are around 14 years old, and all the electronics (minus the bridge pickups) are stock.

Yea dude, I finished it about a month after I took that pic... The neck was done by Aug, and he used the wrong fretwire, and so it wouldn't play right. He offered to redo it or send me a '65 reissue mustang neck with a bronco decal on it, but I never bothered to send it back to him, so it currently has my '69 mustang RI neck on it.

It has a Fender Hot Noiseless single coil in it and it's one of my favorite sounding guitars right now!

Thanks guys! I didn't mean to derail the thread or anything. I guess a lot of people forgot about that project of mine since it was so long ago. I need to get around to posting a pic of my entire collection sometime.

But yea, it looks like pretty much the same color to me... I used Duplicolor paint from Autozone, and I think it was called like "Cayman green" or something like that.

dude, you come in guns blazin with pictures like that, you can derail more than just this thread big boy! only kidding. but i'm not about that guitar. IF THE BONARZ POLIZIA ARE HERE, I DEMAND TO SEE ME LAWYER

MEGA SEX.

anywho. mage: that guy says allparts wants $175. boom bargain pricing right MEOOWWW. he charges $13.00 to ship. with shipping from allparts ($7.00) it's only $14 cheaper. that's hardly a bargain.

i appreciate the link though. if this turns into any sort of project, it will be carefully documented.

If you think about it, this thread is nothing but a derailment.
Finboy: started with link.
HRperlmutter:apparently is winning.
SRB: toggle switch thing.
Hrperlmutter&SRB: mustang banter.
Billy3000 and others: Bronco project.
And now this post. I just gave a narration of a thread.
