Post by astro »

Here's a cheap 1978 Fender Musicmaster guitar for $389 on Ebay

LINQUE

It's been converted to a Duo Sonic with the addition of a humbucker in the bridge, and has non-OG tuners. Could be an interesting project, so I figured I'd post the link in case anybody is interested.

That's a good deal, someone needs to jump on it quick. I would if I had the money right now.

Yeah, I'm strongly tempted... but I already have several instruments that I need to sell because I don't play them enough, so I can't add to the herd until I've thinned it out first!

It would be badass with two single coils, I think.

Yes it would. I used to have a 72 Music Master that was converted to a Duo with two singles. I miss it.

Tuners are just missing covers. You can find those easily enough. Those are an upgrade with the metal knobs. That is SWEET. I would land on that or the Bronco if I wasn't already lousy with them.
