Kind of, but it was modeled more after a mid 60s model. Besides the small matching headstock and fingerboard binding, the pickguard and pickups looked a bit more authentic than that and the bridge plate was different too, a sort of rectangular shape. Also the bridge itself was like one long Jaguar saddle vs. the 6-saddle Mustang type seen there.
